Summer Clothes

Here are some of Harrison's clothes for the summer. My mom made the shorts and the smocked shirts and I did the appliqued t-shirts. We have a few more to do and Harrison and Riley (my nephew) will be very well dressed for the summer.

Jackson's first Baseball Game and Birthday Presents

Well we had to postpone Jackson's birthday party this Saturday, due to the whole family having the stomach virus. It was miserable. Harrison came down with it during the night Tuesday night, then I got it Thursday night and missed Jackson's birthday dinner. Then Jackson came home Friday from school with it and Jim got it about the same time. AHHHH!!! It was awful, especially for everyone to get it. We did make it to Jackson's first baseball game and he had a great time. We went out to eat afterwards and Jackson got to open his presents from us. I still can't believe he is 6.
Happy Birthday Jackson!!

Monkey see... Monkey do...

This is a shirt I did for Stephen who lives down the street. He is a younger brother and just like Harrison and Jackson, Stephen does everything Charlie does. He is too cute.

Just some fun pictures

Pulling his second tooth. The permanent tooth was already growing in behind it and I finally convinced him to pull it. The tooth fairy brought him a dollar bill and a one dollar coin.

Baseball Practice

Jackson's first baseball practice was great. He is so excited to play that he pays so close attention to the coach and really tries his best. His first game is this weekend and he is so ready. I will take tons of pictures to post later.

Potty Training

Well we started talking about potty training about a month ago and decided to do it while Harrison was on Spring Break this week. Tuesday night while getting into the bath we knew he needed to pee-pee and we finally convinced him to go on the little potty. He had a little squirt and then did some more and then some more and after about 20 minutes was finally finished. Jackson was already finished with his bath at this point. We were so excited and went crazy. So over the past week he has gone a couple of times and even pooped in the potty one time. We bought new "underpants" as Harrison calls them, on Saturday and these were some of the ones he picked out.

This is his face as I told him we were out of diapers and he was going to wear "big boy underwear". He wasn't really sure if he was happy or wanted to cry. He didn't want to put them on at first, but then he got really excited about it.

Harrison did not want me taking any more pictures, but I just couldn't help it.

He has done amazing so far today. No accidents and has been pee-pee 3 times and poopy 1 time. I can't wait to see how the rest of the day goes.

Snow in March

Unbelievable, the first day of March and this is what we get. The boys were beside themselves when it started snowing on the way home from church. They are huge flakes and it is beautiful. It is supposed to continue to snow off and on the rest of the day and get down to about 25 degrees tonight. If I had to quess Jackson will not have school tomorrow.
